Validation programme information

You can find detailed information about the validation programme in the validation standard for scaffolder (in Dutch)(PDF file opens in new window).

If you want to demonstrate your experience as a scaffolder to a validation body, you will do so by means of a practical test and a written knowledge test.

The language of instruction for the tests is Dutch. You will need at least a basic knowledge of Dutch to pass the tests.

You will be tested on whether you can:

  • under the supervision of at least one scaffolder supervisor and with the help of at least one scaffolder helper, assemble scaffolding that meets the following criteria:
    • upright scaffolding with a standard configuration,
    • with extension,
    • on an unstable surface,
    • with a working floor height of at least 6.25 metres,
    • with an access point,
  • dismantle the scaffolding,
  • indicate how an unsafe scaffolding with a standard configuration can be restored to a safe state,
  • indicate how scaffolding with a complex configuration can be safely assembled and dismantled,
  • indicate how an unsafe scaffold with a complex configuration can be restored to a safe state.
