Validation programme for professional qualification as a lifting truck driver

The lifting truck driver performs loading and unloading operations and storage and supply operations with a lifting truck according to a specific assignment and (de)stacks goods at various heights.

The lifting truck driver

• transports and moves goods to various locations, then parks the lifting truck.
• adheres to quality procedures and safety regulations, works to a strict timetable and has appropriate and flexible working hours.
• performs their job in various logistics environments such as warehouses, logistics platforms, warehouses, cargo areas, freight stations, factories, etc., and does so in a potentially noisy environment, a freezing or cooling area or a very hot area.

If you want to demonstrate your experience as a lifting truck driver at a validation body, you do so through a practical test and a written knowledge test.

The language of instruction for the tests is Dutch. You therefore need at least a basic knowledge of Dutch.

You must:

• check the lifting truck
• drive and manoeuvre the lifting truck
• load and unload pallets
• stack and destack pallets.
