Expert event NARIC-Vlaanderen 5 February 2025

Last Wednesday, NARIC-Vlaanderen organised a networking event in the Herman Teirlinck Building in Brussels for credential evaluators, advisors to higher education institutions and integration counsellors specialised in diploma recognition. Some 120 partners from education, healthcare and integration participated in inspiring sessions on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, the new structure of secondary education and fraud detection. They could also register for country-specific sessions in which NARIC-Vlaanderen went deeper into the processing of applications from, for example, Afghan or Ukrainian diploma holders.

The subjects that were chosen have and will continue have an impact on the work of NARIC-Vlaanderen and that of the partners. NARIC-Vlaanderen also focused on topics in which it has strengthened its expertise in recent years.

The networking event provided an opportunity not only to share recent developments at NARIC-Vlaanderen, but also to highlight international trends. The latest figures on recognition applications were discussed, but also the country summit and future projects for 2025.
